How it works
- Drop the PDF.
- Pick Sign, then draw your signature or type your name.
- Click where it goes. Drag it to move it, pull a corner to resize it. Date adds today's date.
- Download the signed copy.
This is a picture of your signature, the way a printed document is signed by hand. It is not a certificate-based digital signature.
It runs in this tab on pdfedge's own code. Your file is not uploaded anywhere, and closing the tab leaves nothing behind.
Before the download, pdf.js, a second PDF reader that shares no code with the one that filled it, opens the filled PDF and checks it against yours: every page and its text are still there, and so is everything you typed and signed. A PDF that fails a check isn't downloaded.

In POST /v1/fill a signature is an image box, "type": "image" in fields, with a PNG's URL as its value in data. The Template & API tab shows the exact call.
