How it works
- Drop the PDF.
- Click on a blank and type. Tab goes to the next box; Enter finishes.
- Click a box on the form to tick it. Sign adds your signature, Date adds today's date.
- Drag a box to move it, pull a corner to resize it, then download.
It runs in this tab on pdfedge's own code. Your file is not uploaded anywhere, and closing the tab leaves nothing behind.
Before the download, pdf.js, a second PDF reader that shares no code with the one that filled it, opens the filled PDF and checks it against yours: every page and its text are still there, and so is everything you typed. A PDF that fails a check isn't downloaded.
In your code
The same fill is POST /v1/fill: your boxes as fields, what you typed as data. The Template & API tab shows the exact call for the boxes you placed, or a template to fill by id.
